Dr. Mark Dance is the Director of Pastoral Wellness for Guidestone Financial Resources. In this interview, he sits down with Denison Forum Executive Director Dr. Mark Turman to discuss Dance’s latest book, Start to Finish: The Pastor’s Guide to Leading a Resilient Life and Ministry.

The Marks, both former pastors who now help lead other pastors, have a long history, and their interview will certainly encourage pastors and church leaders today.

As Amazon attests, “In this book, ministry leaders will find the guidance to finish the race well from start to finish. Whether you are ten years into your ministry or have not even taken the first steps, this book will discuss the important steps to take that will encourage the reader to serve well, lead well, and end well.”

Mark Dance was a lead pastor/planter for 27 years before becoming an associate vice president at Lifeway, the director of pastoral development for Oklahoma Baptists, and co-founder of the Care4Pastors Network. Mark has degrees from Howard Payne University (BBA), SWBTS (MDiv), and SBTS (DMin).
