It’s not about getting through the Bible. It’s about God getting through to you.
In A Light Unto My Path, Dr. Jim Denison lays a foundation for lifelong, life-transforming Bible study that any Christian can accomplish.
With his decades of pastoral and seminary teaching experience, Dr. Denison helps Christians become better students of God’s word—not so that they can know more facts about the Bible but so that they can intimately know the God of the Bible.
This practical guide to Bible study focuses on seven essential questions:
- Why do we read the Bible?
- How was the Bible created?
- Why do we need to interpret the Bible?
- What is the Bible about?
- What are the best tools for studying the Bible?
- What can I learn from others?
- How can I learn for myself?
If you’ve wrestled with making Bible study a consistent habit of spiritual formation, A Light Unto My Path will inspire and encourage you to drink more deeply from the unending well that is the Bible.
May the words within help you better understand God’s word and draw you closer to God’s calling on your life.
